I don't know if i should laugh or just be upset...for now I'm laughing, cause this is sort of funny in a stupid way.

I mentioned in my previous journal [link] the little problem i had with Epilogue.net and my digital drawing.

I tried my luck again, i sent , i even wrote "(no burn or smudge tool, to make it clear)" in the description. Guess what? they refused the drawing, again, for the same damn reason... now excuse me but WTF?!?

I think I will forget about that page for a while. One thing is to criticize and find flaws in my work, one thing is to keep assuming i used certain tools when i didn't...meh.

So i sent my latest digital painting to epilogue.net, they didn't approve it, as many other drawings i sent in the past. Normally i accept their decisions without much problems, but this time I'm a bit annoyed.
They refused my piece with this reason: "Blurry or smudged work". According to them, this means:

"Blurry or smudged work/Image is excessively blurry or smudged - This usually means that your work has overly soft edges which interfere with clarity, that you've overused digital smudge or blur tools, or that you've submitted a pencil or charcoal drawing with fingerprints or accidental smudges on it. In the case of general blurriness or lack of clarity, you can rectify the problem by defining edges, refining details, and generally concentrating on sharpness. For digital artists, the smudge tool is a very powerful one if used correctly, but it can be overused: the smudge tool has a distinctive "running paint" look when overused, and this is best avoided, for the most part."

According to that, i should understand that they thought i overused the smudge tool (or the blur one for that matter). This is rather funny cause i didn't use it once on the drawing, in fact i don't like using it at all! I don't even think my drawing looks like it was over smudged/blurred...maybe I'm wrong

That is the reason why I'm not too happy with digital painting, because people can always accuse you of doing things and you can't really prove them wrong. With traditional work, i feel more confident cause i have the actual work in my hands to show how i really work.

Hello everyone
Anyone knows an online shop, where i can purchase single prismacolor pencils? (From USA or Uk)
Also...i have the case with 48 colours, how can it be that they didn't put a single gray pencil?:/
Anyone else had this issue: after a while the dark colours on my drawings (using prismacolors only) develop some sort of whitish "glaze", "coat"(not sure what is the correct word:/), even though i can remove it with a cloth or my fingers, any tips on how to prevent that?
